Remote Scuba Exploration

Crowded destination diving resorts offer scuba for the masses of inexperienced divers. If you have experienced all those resorts and now want to explore rarely seen underwater worlds, Exploration Panama has an exciting trip for you. The Pacific coast and offshore islands of western Panama are remote and undeveloped. We have the specialized boat as well as the necessary equipment and knowledge to take you to this unknown diving paradise in safety and air conditioned comfort.

All scuba trips have a maximum capacity of 6 people.

Trip #1

One day - 2-tank dive, minimum of three.

After meeting your captain and dive master in Boca Chica you will cruise 20 miles offshore to Ladrones (Robbers) Island to enjoy a morning and afternoon dive at this secluded location.

Trip #2

Two days - one night - 5 tank dive, minimum of three.

The first day is the same as trip # 1 above except that following the afternoon dive we will cruise to the Secas Islands about 20 miles further down the coast. After anchoring in a remote cove we will enjoy a fresh cooked dinner and a restful night's sleep on board. The next day is a morning and afternoon dive and a return cruise to our departure point.

Trip #3

Two nights - three days - three island groups, minimum of three.

The first two days of this are the same as Trip #2. On the afternoon of the second day you will cruise another 15 miles out to the remote Contreras Island chain. The third day is a morning and afternoon drive and then we cruise back to our starting point at Boca Chica.

Trip #4

Two nights - 3 days in the Coiba Island Marine National Park.

The famous Coiba Island Marine National Park and it's extensive reefs and out islands is truly a diver's paradise. It offers almost endless opportunities to explore areas rarely visited by divers. We will cruise directly from Boca Chica to Coiba, a 75-mile open ocean cruise. For the next three days and two nights we'll explore the underwater world of this undeveloped area.

Long Range Expeditions $1800.00 per day per group

Our ocean cruiser is capable of remaining offshore for long periods of time and has a range of over 1400 miles. Because of this ability, we can custom design a diving expedition into the most remote and road less areas of Panama. The beautiful and untouched wilderness coastline of Panama is a scuba explorer's dream come true. There are many areas of this jungle coastline that even we have never explored. So if you have that true explorer personality this expedition is for you.
